Standard films last for about 5 years, while high quality ones like ceramic can last for up to 10 years. The films used in our shops are from a trusted brand XPEL, and they have a lifetime warranty against peeling, bubbling or fading.

Tinting Chicago has two (soon three) shops that can handle all of your wrapping and tinting needs, for all types of vehicles including motorbikes. We will make sure to apply the vinyl wrap perfectly and not leave any bubbles or wrinkles behind. The tinting films we use are from XPEL, and they come with a lifetime warranty against peeling, bubbling, or fading. But obviously, the tinting film will get the usual wear and tear after many years, or it can get scratched. As long as you take good care of it, you can benefit from the tinting films for many years to come.

The tinting application process for an entire car takes between 2 and 4 hours, depending on the size and the type of vehicle. Some luxury car models, vintage cars, and rare ones are more difficult to tint so they would take a bit more time.

The price for full car window tint depends on your vehicle and the XPEL film you choose. In our shop, full auto tinting for the sides and rear window starts at $249 for a coupe or 4-door sedan with XPEL CS, and $279 for an SUV or pickup. For more heat rejection, XPEL XR is $379 for a coupe or sedan and $409 for an SUV or pickup. If you want the top film, XPEL XR+ is $609 for a coupe or sedan and $659 for an SUV or pickup.
